     Calcium stearate is made by international advanced dry manufacturing technique (high speed dispersing direct

Neutralization Titration), applying to manufacture of various kind of PE, PP, PNC, ABS resin. It reaches PE 

spinning high-purity additive’s requirement, eliminates negative impact on residual catalyst to resin color

and stability, improves resin’s yellow index and fluidity. The indexes of fluidity, heat stability, filterability are 

setting the pace in domestic market. This product can be used as lubricant in polyolefin, lubricating grease’s

thickening agent, textile’s water proofing agent, paint flatting agent etc and it is fit for introducing equipments 

and can substitute similar imported additives.




Chemical name: calcium stearate.

Molecular formula: Ca (C17H35COO) 2.

Molecular weight: M=606.

Physical and Chemical Properties: white fine powder, non-toxic, soluble slightly in hot alcohol. It will absorb moisture in air and decompounds into stearate and calcium 

when meeting strong acid.

1. Widely used as heat stabilizer for UPVC. It can increasing the gelation speed with base of lead salt and lead soap.

2. Used as PP and PE halogen absorber to eliminates negative impact on residual catalyst to resin color and stability, improves resin’s yellow index and fluidity.

3. Lubricant in polyolefin fiber and mouldedwork. 

4. Mold release, plasticizer, lubricating grease’s thickening agent, textile’s water proofing agent, paint flatting agent etc. for rubber processing. 

5. This product also can be used for food additives, forage additives and cosmetic etc.
